Waldron Mercy Child Care
Waldron Mercy Child Care (WMCC) is a NAEYC-certified, year-round and state licensed child care center for children three months to three years of age. We participate in the Keystone Stars program.
In our spacious classrooms, children are encouraged to learn, create, discover and experiment. Children play and socialize together in our fun, safe, outdoor playground and recreation area.
Our toddlers work in small groups to learn basic math, science, music, computer, and housekeeping skills.
We are happy to announce the addition of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) components to our curriculum at Waldron Mercy Child Care. Students will soon be able to explore science concepts using age-appropriate engineering and math skills. Students will learn that technology includes both digital and practical methods for “doing” and “making.”
With our dedicated staff, your child feels safe and secure during the day. We give your child individual attention and encouragement. We help your son or daughter become a happy, confident and loving individual. We value parents as the primary educators. We keep in constant communication with parents and schedule parent/teacher conferences twice a year.
We value our employees as is evident in the low turnover rate of our staff. The full-time members of our staff are licensed day care providers through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. All of our lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education.
Waldron Mercy Child Care is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and we are an equal opportunity child care provider.
We are located on the scenic 35-acre campus of Waldron Mercy Academy, Merion Mercy Academy and the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy in the suburban community of Merion Station in Montgomery County.

Waldron Mercy Child Care is committed to the development of the whole child, physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Our program offers a stimulating “hands on” approach to learning. The use of interest areas in each of our classrooms allows our children to develop a curiosity and knowledge about a variety of topics within the classroom and also their environment outside the classroom. We are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for the children here at our center as well as developing a sense of community with our families.
We are a NAEYC-certified, state licensed, year-round, and equal opportunity child care provider.
