"Waldron is a second home to me. Many of my fondest memories and lifelong friends were made at Merion and then Waldron Mercy Academy. Waldron gave me so much and I’m happy to give back so others may experience the Mercy tradition. That tradition of compassion, kindness and friendship inspire me every day."

Welcome! At Waldron Mercy Academy “welcome” is not just a word you will hear but a feeling you will experience. We are proud to be a preschool through eighth grade school rooted in the charism of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy.
Here at Waldron Mercy our faith and our values are important to us. Waldron Mercy’s recognition as the first recipient ever of the Service Learning Program of Distinction award from the Middle States Association, our accrediting agency, showcases our tradition of service beautifully.
Our dedicated staff weaves this mission into our personalized approach to our challenging academic program from the moment a child steps through our doors. Whether students are engaged in arts and languages, working on a STEM project to enhance classroom understanding, building character through extracurriculars, or receiving a strong foundation in faith, our students are learning how to put Mercy into action, a lesson they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Did you know we have art and music specialists who work exclusively with our youngest students? Did you realize that our diverse student body has opportunities to lead, act as role models, and participate in our award-winning Forensics programs? Or that we produce two musicals each year, one for students in grades 2-4 and one for those in grades 5-8? Or that our
staff has been studying the concept of building resilience and how to use it to help students succeed? Did you hear that both independent and public high schools are thrilled to welcome our well-prepared students to their programs?
You don’t have to take my word for it: I encourage you to take a look through our website to gain a deeper understanding of the amazing programs we have to offer and hear firsthand from our alums and parents to learn why they chose Waldron Mercy. Then come visit us!
I look forward to welcoming you to our family!
In Mercy,

Ann Marie Braca, Principal
