For the first time in three months, we welcomed eighth graders and their families back on campus to celebrate our graduates with a drive-up ceremony on the front lawn.
Faculty members greeted the Class of 2020 with waves and huge smiles as families drove on to campus for the ceremony on the morning of June 4, 2020. Families remained in cars, listening as administrators spoke from a stage erected on the lawn. Following Waldron Mercy traditions, students were presented with academic awards and celebrated for the high school scholarships they received. Students walked in a socially distanced procession across the lawn to receive diplomas.
Waldron Mercy’s Class of 2020 graduates will attend a number of prestigious high schools, including Merion Mercy Academy and St. Joseph’s Preparatory School.
