Waldron Mercy Academy is proud to celebrate the incredible musical accomplishments of alumna Natalia Tarampi ’25!

As part of her music scholarship at Villa Joseph Marie High School, Natalia was required to audition for the All Catholic Music Festivals — and she didn’t limit herself to just one ensemble. Natalia auditioned for both the All Catholic Orchestra and the All Catholic Jazz Band, showcasing her versatility across multiple instruments.

Her hard work paid off in an extraordinary way: Natalia earned first chair cello in the All Catholic Orchestra, marking the first time Villa Joseph Marie has ever achieved this honor. She also earned a spot in the All Catholic Jazz Band as a trumpet player, a remarkable accomplishment in its own right.

Natalia’s musical journey is one rooted in curiosity and courage. During her time here at Waldron Mercy Academy, she participated in a music class that introduced students to a variety of instruments. It was there that Natalia first explored the trumpet, inspiring her to take summer lessons simply to see where it might lead. Although she later set the trumpet aside due to a growing workload, her passion never faded, and she’s now returned to the instrument with confidence and success.

Natalia’s achievements are a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of a Waldron Mercy education — one that encourages exploration, fosters talent, and keeps students engaged long after they graduate. We are so proud to celebrate Natalia’s success and to see her forging ahead, making music and history in her freshman year of high school!
