Athletics Overview

At Waldron Mercy Academy, athletics goes beyond sports, and embodies the mind, body and spirit by promoting sportsmanship and building community.

We teach our athletes to work hard, work together, give their best effort, and remain merciful during competition.

We field more than 20 co-ed and single sex teams in 11 sports. We compete in the Catholic Athletic League (CAL) and Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) conferences where Waldron Mercy athletes are known for being strong contenders and respectful opponents.

The lessons learned on the field and court complement those in the classroom and support each student’s growth as a well-round young adult.

For more information about our athletic program or if you have any questions, please contact Phil D'Ambrosio, athletic director, at 610-664-9847, ext. 123.

Physical Education

In physical education class, our students focus on learning how to improve and maintain their physical fitness through active sports and games with their peers.  The students are given the tools to understand how physical activity plays a vital role in growing into a healthy young man or woman.  The class also focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect to aid in forming a bond between the peers and to help make fitness fun!
