Meet Juliana Di Carlo

Juliana Di CarloJuliana Di Carlo

High School: Episcopal Academy
Favorite Subject: History
Hardest and most rewarding assignment: Model United Nations
Arrived at WMA: 6th grade

When asked about a standout teacher, Juliana offered without hesitation “Ms. Flanagan. She is inspiring and teaches with passion and a smile. She motivated me each and every day throughout my time at Waldron.”

Juliana is often smiling herself especially when volunteering to help with carline in the mornings.  She thought of the kindergarteners she walks to their classroom in the morning and offered “I see mercy every day. Whether it be the students interacting with each other or the smiles that adorn their faces when they see me, the younger students never cease to make me smile.”

During her time here at WMA, Juliana was recognized by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Youth Talent for her academic achievements in middle school. She also participated in PA Mathematics League, Forensics, the William R. Sasso Student Diplomat Program, served on the yearbook staff, and played lacrosse and field hockey. At graduation, Juliana was recognized with the Award for General Excellence in 8th Grade Curriculum as well as the Award for Outstanding Achievement for earning “A”s in all major subjects this year.

This summer, Juliana plans on spending time with family, rowing on the Schuylkill, biking, reading and writing, and getting ready for her next adventures in high school.  Congratulations, Juliana! Have fun at EA!
