Substitute Teachers

Director, Child Care Center

WMA is seeking a full time, Director of Child Care Center to start in June, 2019.  The Director provides leadership for the Child Care faculty and oversees daily program operations.  The Child Care Center serves children from 3 months to 3 years of age and is open year-round with weekday hours from 7 AM to 6 PM. Qualiications include a BA or BS in Elementary Education and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.  Supervisory experience is preferred.  If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume and cover letter to employment@waldronmercy.org.  

Teacher, Pre-K

WMA is seeking a full time Pre-K Teacher to start in September, 2019. The Pre-K Teacher prepares materials and class activities adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.  The teacher also provides a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time working with students individually and in groups.  Qualifications indlude a Teaching Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study, and three years experience at an appropriate grade or age level.  Interested applicants should submit their resume and cover letter to employemnt@waldronmercy.org. 

Teacher Aide, Pre-K

WMA is seeking a full time Pre-K Teacher Aide to start in September, 2019.  The Pre-K Teacher Aide assists the teacher in planning, preparing and implementing daily lessons and activities including playground activities.  Qualifications include patience, postive energy, physical stamina and some skill in music, art, drama and/or storytelling. 3) All candidates are required to provide Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Child Abuse, and FBI Criminal History background clearances which are no more than one year old. When an interview is scheduled, candidates will be informed to obtain and show these items.
