Honorees: Lou and Lisa Marchese
Lou and Lisa Marchese have been mainstays at Waldron since their daughters, Nicole '10 and Dominique '11, entered Montessori in 1999. Their son, Michael '16, followed the girls to WMA a few years later.
The Marcheses generously share their time, talent and treasure with WMA and many other organizations close to their hearts. Lou and Lisa were the Tigerfest co-chairs in 2016, but for years prior, they were involved in everything from gift gathering and ad/sponsorship solicitation to decorating and gift basket-making. Lou has been the Golf and Tennis Classic chairperson for 10 years--including 2016--after his youngest child graduated from Waldron. For years, Lisa shared her face-painting skills with countless children at homecoming, WMA plays and the Montessori end-of-year celebration. Both have attended innumerable welcome picnics, gift gathering parties, open houses and parents of alumni receptions, despite having three busy children and a family-owned business to manage. The Marcheses have not missed a Tigerfest Auction or Golf and Tennis Classic in over 10 years! To call them dedicated members of the Waldron Mercy Academy community is an understatement.
WMA is delighted to recognize all that Lou and Lisa Marchese have done for and meant to our community for the past 18 years. Please join us at Tigerfest on April 1 to celebrate with Lou and Lisa and thank them for their generous and loyal dedication.
