  • Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, U.S. Department of Education, 2000-2001, special emphasis award in technology - the only Catholic elementary school in the country to receive this distinction this year.
  • Thirteen eighth grade students won academic scholarships to local private and Archdiocesan high schools, 2007.
  • Twenty recognized seventh grade students in the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth, 2007.
  • First place winner in the St. Joseph's Preparatory School Science Bowl, 2002, second place, 2003.
  • Bronze Medal winner (Fossils) in the Pennsylvania Science Olympiad, Southeast Division, 2004
  • Honorable mentions, Toshiba ExploraVision science competition, 2005 - Grade 6 team and Grade 8 team, 2004 - Grade 5 team and Grade 6 team.
  • One of the top three Archdiocesan Mathlete teams, 2001. 
  • Thirty-three students published poems in the state-wide anthology, "Young Poets Speak" 2002.
  • First in St. Joseph's Prep Speech Contest, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005; second place, 2004, Overall champion, Archdiocesan Speech Contest, 2001, 2004, First in Archbishop Prendergast Speech Contest, 2001.
  • State-level finalists in National Geography Bee, 2002, 2003, 2004.
  • First in Archdiocesan Arts Festival, 2003, 2002, 1999, 1998, second place, 2004, 1997.
  • First place winner in the junior high division of Musicfest Orlando at Disney World, March, 2005 and first place winner in the junior women's choir, first place winner in the junior men's choir, and sweepstakes winner, and first place winner in four categories at the Music Festival of Williamsburg/Virginia Beach, 2003.
