Spring Athletics   

Students who did not participate in a fall or winter sport must submit a physical, bus permission and Athletic Commitment form to the Athletic Office.   All forms can be found on the Athletics Home page.
 
                      
Spring Sports Teams
 
Baseball - Boys
Varsity (Grades 7 and 8)
Varsity competes in the Catholic Academy League;
   JV plays an independent schedule, when offered
* NO JV Baseball offered for 2011 
 
Varsity Softball – Girls   (2010 and 2011 Catholic Academy League Champions ) 
Softball—Girls Varsity (Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8)
Competes in the Catholic Academy League (Softball is a varsity sport. Therefore, tryouts and cuts are possible based on the number of registrants.)
 
Track and Field - Co-ed  (2011 Region 32 Champions - Boys and Girls)
         2011 4x100 Cadet Boys Archdiocesan Champions and ALL Time Record Holder 
(Grades 4 to 8)
Competes in the CYO League-No tryouts.  All make team
 
Lacrosse - Girls Only  (2011 CAL Varsity Champions)
JV (Grades 5 and 6)
Varsity (Grades 7 and 8)
Competes in Catholic Academy League


Spring Sports Registration
Please complete the registration form and hit 'submit' when you are finished. A $125 non-refundable sports fee will be charged to your account.
Note:  Any student who participates in a spring sport will need a current WMA sports physical on file with the Athletics Department. Thank you.

By your electronic signature, you are indicating that you have read and understood the Student-Athlete Code of Conduct and the Parent Code of Conduct. You are also giving permission for your student-athlete to ride buses to and from away games.
Liability/Medical Emergency
I give permission for first-aid treatment for my child, if needed. I understand that in the case of any emergencies, the chaperones will make every attempt to contact me before making a decision concerning medical treatment. If the chaperones are unable to reach me or anyone else designated by me, I give them permission to make any necessary decisions in my absence. I realize that I am assuming full responsibility for my child's participation in after school sports at Waldron Mercy Academy.
