Welcome to Waldron Mercy Child Care (WMCC), a NAEYC-certified, year-round and state licensed child care center for children three months to four years of age. We are also a four-star center with Keystone Stars.
In our spacious classrooms, children are encouraged to learn, create, discover and experiment. Children play and socialize together in our fun, safe, outdoor playground and recreation area.
Our toddler and pre-k students work in small groups to learn basic math, science, music, computer, and housekeeping skills. The children use the Dixon Gym, Albert T. Perry Memorial Library, and music facilities at Waldron Mercy Academy for a change of scenery.
With our dedicated staff, your child feels safe and secure during the day. We give your child individual attention and encouragement. We help your son or daughter become a happy, confident and loving individual.
We value parents as the primary educators. We love to talk with you about your child. We keep in constant communication with parents and schedule parent/teacher conferences twice a year.
We value our employees as is evident in the low turnover rate of our staff. The full-time members of our staff are licensed day care providers through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. All of our lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education.
Waldron Mercy Child Care is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and we are an equal opportunity child care provider.
We are located on the scenic 35-acre campus of Waldron Mercy Academy, Merion Mercy Academy and the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy in the suburban community of Merion Station in Montgomery County.
