College Bound…WMA’s Class of 2010 students head to M.I.T., Penn, Cornell, Berklee College of Music, and More

Members of the WMA Class of 2010 are going places. In September, they will enter some of the best colleges and universities in the country.  Jonathan Paras, who has talked about M.I.T. since he was a young student at Waldron, will graduate from The Haverford School and has been accepted into M.I.T. Last week, Jonathan came back to Waldron to thank his former science teacher, Mrs. Liz Meyer.
Jim McManus and Luke Bushner will head to Cornell after they graduate from Malvern Prep.  Luke was the captain of the Varsity Water Polo and Swim teams and the president of the National Honor Society at Malvern.
Christian Turzo-Egan and Danny Onorato are bound for Penn when they leave St. Joe’s Prep. Emily O’Brien has chosen Bucknell and Michaela Leuzzi is off to Franklin & Marshall after their commencement from Baldwin. Fordham, Marquette, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Denver, St. Joe’s, Lafayette, LaSalle, Bennington College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Temple, Ursinus, Penn State, the University of Delaware, Catholic University, and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FDIM) in Los Angeles are among the schools our Class of 2010 will claim as their future alma maters. We are proud of their many accomplishments and wish them continued success at their chosen colleges.
